Private Tour of The Azorean Pineapple Greenhouses + Gin & Tonic | São Roque | Portugal

Take a private tour of a pineapple farm, not usually open to members of the public. At your behind the scenes experience will meet Pedro, the pineapple farmer, who together with your host Ali will show you his pineapple houses. These contain a total of 20,000 pineapple plants. You will learn about the growing process over 2 years, and how each plant is cared for throughout the process.Your host Ali Bullock, is a master of gin and brand ambassador for premium Azorean gin brand Rocha Negra Gin. This private tour visits the pineapple farm he sources pineapples from to use to make his in-house gin infusions.Your tour ends with a pineapple-infused gin and tonic (or non-alcoholic version should you prefer – please let us know in advance). You’ll also have plenty of time to walk around the pineapple greenhouses and take as many photos as you wish and ask any questions. Finally, you will receive an Azorean pineapple to take home as a leaving gift (1 per booking).
