2-Days Chimpanzee Trekking Tour (Nyungwe National Park)Day 1: Travel from Kigali to Nyungwe National Park via Butare/HuyeOur English /French speaking tour guide will pick you at 10:00 Am after breakfast from where you will be staying in Kigali, short briefing then drive to Nyungwe National Park in the southern Province of Rwanda. The drive from Kigali to Nyungwe National Park takes around 6 – 7 hours. On the way to Nyungwe if time allows you can visit the King Palace museum, the Rwanda National Museum and huye mountain coffee and tea. Arrive at your lodge for Dinner and Overnight.Accommodation options;*Gisakuru Guest House| Nyungwe nziza hotel | Kitabi eco- centerDay 2: Chimpanzee trekking & return to KigaliAfter early breakfast, transfer to the reception center by 5:00 Am where we meet the ranger guides and from there drive to the point where you start the hike into Nyungwe/ Cyamudongo forest. It may take between 30 minutes and 2 hours to locate the chimps, after back to kgli.
