7 Rila Lakes Self-Guided Shared Trip from Sofia | Sofia | Bulgaria

Enjoy a day away from the city and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. This self-guided tour will take you to the 7 Rila Lakes area in the Rila National park, Bulgaria’s most famous natural site. The tour bus will in the early morning from the centrally located square/parking lot behind the Alexander Nevski Cathedraland and drive you to the 7 Rila Lake, approximately a 1.5 hour drive, where the hiking routes and base station of the chairlift are located. Here is where you will have the freedom to walk all the way uphill to the lakes or take the chairlift up in the mountain (fee for chairlift is not included in this tour). You will have more than 7 hours for yourself to experience the Rila Lakes. The tour ends at the centrally located square/parking lot behind the Alexander Nevski Cathedral (close to Sofia University metro station).
