Best of Tirana city tour | Tiranë | Albania

Founded in 17-nth century, Tirana became capital of Albania only on 1920. Its history stretches from ottoman period to communism area with an influence of modern architecture. During our walking tour in the main boulevard we will visit beautiful sights such as: Clock Tower, Et’hem Bey Mosque, Different Ministries buildings, City Hall, Pyramid of Tirana, President office, University of Tirana, Orthodox cathedral, Catholic cathedral, etc. Next we will enter to the ex-communist BLLOK area which nowadays is transferred into an area full of modern bars and restaurants. A delicious albanian coffee is included on a cozy coffee shop.After this walking we will transfer by car to the highlight of this tour, Bunkart 1. It is a cold war massive underground bunker located in the outskirts of Tirana. With 3000 sq meters underground space, it is an incredible museum showing the history of communism area in Albania. Inside we will spend around 1 hour.
