A unique chance to see off the beaten track destinations in Moscow region, mainly connected with the 1941-1945 war. On this tour we may visit the New Jerusalem monastery which became a Nazi stronghold in the autumn of 1941, a museum in Snegiri which has got a lot of stuff (including a Tiger, in a poor condition though), two war memorials dedicated to the heroes of WWII in the vicinity of Volokolamsk and a small but picturesque Kremlin in Volokolamsk itself. On our way back there will be a great museum of equipment (Vadim Zadorozhny’s Museum) which has a huge collection of military hardware as well as Western/Soviet vintage cars and motorbikes. The famous Arkhangelskoe estate is just around the corner.Borodino Battlefield and Kubinka Tank Museum are also an option!The itinerary is totally flexible, you can add or skip some places!
