We will see the Liberty Bell, a gift from France; Carpenter’s Hall, the oldest trade guild in the country; the President’s House Memorial Site, which served as the “White House” from 1790 to 1800 while Philadelphia was the U. S. capital. We’ll enter the church where most of the signers of the Declaration of Independence worshiped, a beautiful sanctuary still in constant use.
