Bilbao has a vibrant, avantgarde feel to it… You’ll see for yourself straight away that it exudes modernity. From it’s origins as an industrial hub, it has evolved into an international reference point for urban design and has set the standard as a model of urban regeneration. if we had to stand out one regeneration that has secured Bilbao’s place on the international stage that would have to be the Guggenheim. It can’t be denied that since it’s construction it has become a great highlight. In this tour we will visit Bilbao’s casco viejo with a stop for some traditional Bilbao style pintxos. After we will continue our walk up to the church of san Antón and visit the Ribera market, the biggest indoor market in Europe. Then we walk along the river leaving behind the old Bilbao all the way to our included Guggenheim visit.
