This vast 33,800 hectare park created in 1991 is located between Agadir in the north and Tiznit in the south, at the mouth of the Massa River. This area offers discovery trails with magical landscapes: coastal cliffs, dunes, wetlands as well as steppes. This true national heritage testifies to a biological richness in rare and endemic species as well as in natural ecosystems and landscapes.In this park there are 24 species of mammals (mongooses, foxes, jackals, wild boars, wild cats …). 250 species of birds. 26 species of amphibians and reptiles. Its flora includes more than 300 plant species (argan trees, thuja, eucalyptus, euphorbia …) of which 13 are endemic. There are four species of antelope to discover: addax, oryx, Dama Mhorr and Dorcas gazelles and the red-necked ostrich.Unfortunately, all of the animals on these reserves are threatened with extinction.
