One of the locations where the Melukat ceremony is generally held is in the holy spring pool located in the temple complex of Tirta Empul, Tampaksiring, Bali. Tirta Empul itself means holy water that comes out of the ground. Not only Hindus in Bali and local communities are allowed to do this procession, domestic tourists and foreign tourists are also allowed to participate.
