Tea Ceremony in authentic machiya house | Kyoto | Japan

Our Tea Ceremony is held on the second floor of a 140-year-old traditional Machiya and led by certificated Tea Teacher who is born and based here in Kyoto. We can help you understand the correct manners for Tea and we offer with insights into the Way of Tea. After attending our class you will understand how to enjoy matcha tea,and you can enjoy at home. Please feel free to contact us for reservations, or with any questions you may have.We have organised our Tea space so it is accessible to anyone. You will sit on on tatami. You can sit on the chair if you would like to.We welcome children and the elderly.We are the member of Kyoto City Tourism Association.
