The Mechrey Floating Village Day ,Morning: Meeting at 08:00 in the reception.Excursion to visit Mechrey floating Village, via the national road No.6 for approximately 25 minutes drive and then arrive at the port. We take a boat to discover (Approx. 1.5 – 2 hours visit) way of living of the people at the floating village, school, markets etc. We stop at a pagodabuilt in 1946 located on a 2700 square meters island for a photo opportunity. Traveling further, we pass through an impressive flooded forest stretching over 24 square km, a habitat for hundreds of species of flora and bird life. Learn how local people make traditional medicine from the trees and plants. On the return time permitting, we visit the Pouk Village and discover how silk product is made and woven. at Silk farm.
